Ever pay attention to those ads on television for different medications? I find them most amusing....

The commercial is very happy, with a wonderful, young, beautiful family...almost all of them are like this. They show the family having wonderful times together...

All the positive, glorious effects of this medicine are talked about in such a cheerful tone! "We understand how you feel! We want you to suffer no longer!"
You know the scenario.

And then, comes the softly-spoken "fine print," which is said very quickly, as if you're supposed to pay attention to the cute mother and son running through the field and laughing and playing.
"Some common side effects are nausea, nose bleeding, slow blood clotting, amnesia, sexual dysfunction, heart attacks, excessive internal bleeding, brain tumors, gonorrhea, loss of appetite, and minor back pain. Ask your doctor before switching to [insert brand-name product here]."
